This standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing the Environmental Protection Law of the People 's Republic of China and the Law of the People' s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Atmospheric Pollution, protecting the environment, ensuring human health and standardizing the determination of hexavalent chromium in environmental airborne particulates. This standard specifies the determination of hexavalent chromium in ambient air particulate matter by ion chromatography. This standard is the first release.
